Combining his extensive and professional knowledge of the Midland area real estate market and his drive to provide his residential and commercial clients with superior service, Badger is a proven leader! Education

  • 1981: graduate of Midland High School. 
  • 1985: graduate of Albion College:  B.A. in Economics and Management with an emphasis in accounting and finance.
  • 2001: attended Dr. Frederick Grosse’s 100 Retreat in Bali, Indonesia in 2004 along with 250 of the top Realtors from Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.  He was coached and mentored by Dr. Fred from April 1997 to October 2007.   • 2002: attended the Australian Sales Conference in Sydney, Australia with real estate leaders from the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.
  • 2006-7: coached by Robert Bohlen for 3 years. Bob Bohlen is thought to be the number one Realtor in the United States and only takes on approximately 24 coaching students worldwide. www.rbohlen.com

Experience

  • 1985: Financial Services Representative for L.F. Mohn Financial Group, Farmington Hills, Michigan.
  • 1986: started Beall Investments, Midland, Michigan.
  • 1987: Property Manager for Miller-Christensen Realtors (now Coldwell Banker Alliance Group): managed residential and commercial real estate for a local developer and his partnerships.
  • 1991: joined Ayre/Rhinehart Realtors and quickly became one of their top agents.
  • 2001: became a broker/owner and has personally averaged approximately $8.0 million in sales volume in seven of the last eight years, with the highest year at $13.0 million. He currently overseas and directs Midland’s premier Property Management Department. Ayre/Rhinehart currently manages over 95 units in the Midland area as well as dozens of leasing clients.
  • Partner in Briton Properties with his wife, Julie. Briton Properties has owned several rentals in the City of Midland. Briton has made and lost money, which has added to his experience around income properties in Midland.

  • Badger and his wife, Julie, created the Apple Tree Endowment Fund through Midland Area Community Foundation, which provide grants in support of parenting education programs in Midland County.

Personal

Badger’s hobbies include mountain bike racing, golf and traveling. He also obtained his private pilot’s license in 2004. As the creator and developer of Myeasycoach.com, Badger hopes to launch the site in 2009. This is a self-coaching website designed for top Realtors and those aspiring to be.

Married since 1987, Badger and his wife, Julie, a local CPA, have 2 children, Bob and Mary. Bob and Mary are very active in travel soccer; Mary is also involved in competitive gymnastics.
